there is more beneath the eye
searching looking like a spy
it doesn't come down to what we wear
its suppose to be obvious but no one seems to care

she takes the subway at 8 o'clock
down to the city of metal and rock
she wears a dress to cover her legs
and always carry some plastic bags

she's overweight and much too short
she avoid eye contact to hide her thoughts
but she like to laugh and love to sing
who would've thought her for a good human being?

he eats lunch at a burger place
he sits and eat in his regular pace
his glasses are big and hanging on his nose
he always wear the same boring clothes

he is bold and lonely and has big ears
and shrink to a ball when he feel fear
but he volunteer and love  small kids
who would've thought he's into good deeds
