She Stood in front of the door. She hasn't been there for
two months, but the streetlight was still flickering. Two
months and they still haven't got that fixed. He was behind
that door. She saw him today, but that didn't count, she
didn't even have the chance to hug him before the press was
all over her.
"Are you really back?"
"Are you staying for good?"
"What did you do for two months?"
"Couple of words for our listeners, how is it in the other
side of the world?"
"Now that you're back, can you tell us why did you leave?"
Why did I leave? She thought she knew the answer, but how
can they understand? They wouldn't get it. They didn't know
how she felt before she left, and they don't have a ghost of
a chance to know how she feels now.
They don't know what it feels like to stand outside that
door, after two whole months. They'll never have any idea
what it felt like two months ago when she was standing in
front of the same door, only from the other side, asking
herself for the last time if she really want to do it.
Leave. Run away... Not knowing where, not knowing when
she'll be back, and how long she'll be without him.
She glanced at her watch, it was late. But she knew he was
still awake, waiting for her. She opened her purse and
grabbed the key. The same key she used to lock the door with
two months ago when she left, the same key that together
with the picture of the two boys that lived in that house,
was her most treasured possession the last two months. She
was sure he didn't change the lock; she knew he'd wait for
her, no matter how long she'll be away.
She slowly opened the door and shut it down quietly. She
walked to the living-room. Although the sound of her
footsteps was as quiet as she could manage, she still heard
the television go off and the little jump of his baby
brother. He ran, and she stood still, not knowing if she
feels like laughing her ass off or crying like a little
baby, was she really home?
"Audrey!" Mokuba screamed when he saw her. He ran and jumped
into her arms.
"Hi kido" she said into his ear, her voice was shaking. He
screamed her name so loud, she was sure Seto heard it, no
matter how busy he was running his billion dollar company.
She got so exited just seeing he's little brother, she
didn't think she'll be able to talk when she actually see
him.
"Come on, let me look at you boy" she looked at him, stared
into his big eyes and for the first time she regretted
leaving both of them all alone. "You grew so much" she said
and a tear ran down her cheek. "I'm so sorry Moky, so
sorry"
"I saw you and Seto on TV" he said, and added "He's
upstairs" as if answering a question she hasn't asked yet.
Audrey didn't say a word, just went upstairs, slowly, one
step at the time. She got to his room, their room! It was
their room!! He was sitting there, staring at the blank
computer screen. He turned to look at her, she opened her
mouth to say something, "Hi baby", but the words didn't come
out. She tried to smile, wink, show any other sign of
happiness, but all that came out were two big tears, and
those tears were the thing that broke them both, she ran to
him and drowned in his arms. His arms were just as strong as
she remembered, she felt so safe, so secure, and she swore
she won't leave him ever again, never!
He lifted her in his arm and carried her to the bed. She
pulled his tie and he bent over, she could feel him, smell
him... she closed her eyes and the heat coming from his body
put her on fire. He bent down to kiss her, but stopped. It
has been so long since she felt his soft loving lips; it
almost felt like a sin to do it now. She was the forbidden
fruit, how could he touch her?
She opened her eyes and saw his mouth opens up a little,
just a little, she knew exactly what he though about. She
could almost feel his wet lips softly touching hers; she
could feel his tongue finding its way to her mouth. She
looked at his hand and saw him grabbing the sheets; she
closed her eyes and almost felt his fingers running through
her hair, slowly finding their way to her nape, sending
waves of cold chills through her spine.
She opened her eyes, and his hand was just grabbing the
shits, nothing more.
She stared into his blue eyes, the same eyes that hypnotized
her so many times, the same eyes that gave her so much love,
the same eyes that were fixed on her neck now. She looked at
him looking at her, she saw him opens his mouth, and in
their mind he was now biting her tender neck. A little moan
slipped from her mouth. She knew what he thought about, what
he wanted, she felt his intentions. She sensed his mind.
He took her clothes off, slowly, gently. He was careful not
too touch her too much. She was naked on the big bed,
staring at him with that look of hers that made sure he
knows she was all his. Only his.
His fingers were now moving all over her body. Touching -
not touching her soft skin. She had Goosebumps all over. He
was breathing heavily, licking his lips. She could feel him
sucking her nipples, gently biting them. She lifted her hand
and touched his chest; his heart was beating like crazy. For
two months she didn't have the chance to feel his heart,
only the thought of him so close to her made her warm all
over, she felt herself getting wet. She closed her eyes and
felt his heart beats, thump, thump; his pulse echoed inside
her body, she could see in her mind his blood runs in his
veins. He kissed her eyes and all she could do was stretch
her arm and touch his face, he kissed her fingers, and than
she felt it. She wasn't ready for it, doesn't matter how
many times she dreamed about it at night, she still wasn't
ready. She screamed as she felt him inside her, filling the
empty space that was so alone for two months. He shut her up
with a kiss, he always did that when Mokuba was awake, she
didn't care, he was just as always, strong, tough, deadly...
And once again she lost her will in his arms, he dictated
the rhythm, and she followed, accepting him inside of her,
letting him conquer her again and again, loving him more and
more. The first orgasm she had in two months hit her like a
lightning strike, it was so strong she felt like she was
going to faint. He didn't say a word, just kissed her neck
and rested his head on her chest, like he always did. She
felt his hot sweaty body pressuring hers, she felt his heart
on her stomach, she felt him.
"Seto" she said when she could finally find her voice, "I
love you". He just took her hand in his, and squeezed it,
letting her know he's not going to let her go ever again.
"So much" she said, and at long last, she felt really happy.
And Audrey knew, for the first time in a very long time, she
was home. |
