The infant star of a new day
Swimming in the bowels of despair
She wallows In his mind
A distraught damsel, panicky and uncertain.
Decorated road with yellow daffodils
Never followed through like I wanted
Like I thought you would.
Drowning in the dreamletts of her eyes,
She undresses the lunacy,
Satyr of the wilderness
Drifting in a dire labyrinth of woe
Leaving but a cold naked snake
Twisting wildly under the scattered sun
His was a life we'll never know
This was a heinous act of theatre.
The color from his scales be gone
The stars no longer sparkle
The tragic death of inner me
Had washed away the dreamlett. |
