As generations pass
Forever abides the injustice
It is said that the truth grows from the earth
But the earth continues its silence

Will the rich get richer and the poor get poorer
Will we mope and moan with no answer

Today again a drunk will role in the street
Tomorrow his children won't go to class
He was sentenced to stupidity and rejection
Ignorant and illiterate, he is not part of the mass

It is said that we are all the image of the Lord
That all people are equal in the world
So how is it that somebody is worth more
And why do we choose to ignore

So God that we fear, please hold us dear
Just one more question- Are we the chosen nation?!
