The fairy within.


The fairies of the forest told me
About the man who lost himself within a lie,
That kept on living all alone
And just not knowing why.
And the fairies of the lake told me the tale
About the beautiful prince of the dark abyss
Who fell in love within himself
For he
Was unable
To kiss.

The fairies of the mountains told me about
The hunted castle that lies within the valley of death
And inside a golden dragon
Who shots the hottest fire
With In each and every breath.  
The fairies in my back yard garden
Told my about the treasure box
That I buried there when I was six.
And within that box there is a letter to myself
And a candy and watch I tried to fix.

And one stormy day
Came to me a little fairy of rain
And as we danced together out side
She whispered me the secrets of pain.

(The fairies in the grass told my a jock
About a funny thing they called "hope"
And about a man who lost it someday
And was found at the end of a rope.
The fairies of the desert told my about
The ancient sphinx and the wisdom within
And the gatekeeper who watch the sacred doors
So no one will get in.)
