There was a time that being black was all i wanted.
There was a time being a part had much to it.
Those days are gone and i know that by now. But not because
i don't want to i just don't belong.
But don't be sad or share a tear 'cause the story doesn't
end here.
there's a part of me ,i know, which wouldn't belong no
matter what i'll do . And that's o.k. i like the way i am
i'm happpy with life and where i stand.
And don't think i'm talking just out of a broken heart, i'm
realy happy with the why i am and u should do the same.
Actually i kinda like being diffrent . in fact i kinda like
being "black".
I know this song sounds a little lame. But hey, that's the
way i am!
