Last night two men from Trenchtown driving in Los Stupidos
after they had watched the stand up show "What Was He
Thinking?", ran down a wandering Smiley walking alone.
The two men, John Doe & Nathan
who-prefers-to-be-called-Nate, aren't known to the police
department in Los Stupidos.
"We were'n't concertrating on what was happening on the
road, because we were laughing about the stand up show that
we had ben seeing. We didn't see that poor little fella
'cause he's dark!"
So said the two men to our reporter.
This is the sad story of Smiley's life: He is 12 years old
and he lived most of his life in Sadavill, a green and
beautiful countryside in Naivia.
He told our reporter, Mrs. Bzzzzzzz that he was searching
for a place to live his life peacefully, but e still adn't
found what he was looking for, when suddenly he was run down
by the two man from Trenchtown. Theyove him to the local
hospital "Los Hurtos" and there they told the policeman to
call Smiley's family so they would know what had happened,
but the policeman couldn't find anything that could identify
the victim.
When Smiley came around, he told the policeman that he
doesn't have a home, and told his story to the policeman
even though the policeman didn't want to hear the story, and
at some point the policeman threatened Smiley's life.
The two men come to Smiley and apologized for the accident.
John Doe mentioned that he knew a nice family from Grandmas
during his traveling years and he suggested that Smiley live
with them, so the cop called the Breidies, and told them to
get to the hospital.
The family came at about 3 a.m. The kids told the cop about
the cups and showed them to him. Soon the two man were very
excited because they had invented these cups, and then one
of the kids, Kate Breidy, suggested putting Smiley on one of
the cups.
And this is where the story ends: Smiley is better now,
living on the cup, and never stops smiling...
