Gentley purring a cat by the fire
Outside my window flesh crosses the skyes
Weak light of candles tries to fill my room
Two armchairs by fire and smoke of two pipes
That's me and the Wizard, here by the fireplace
Covered by blankets, we quietly talk
He tells me stories about his past travels
I listen and watch as he makes rings of smoke
So many things he can tell me, the Wizard
He knows who is whom, and what's destened to be
He knows why it started, and when it should stop
He knows the one and the only secret of truth!
Suddenly thunder explodes in the darkness
The fire gets crazy, cat's hair stands on end
I keep on asking, his voice grows louder
He talks about times when we all eat the land
There'll be no mercy, death has no direction
The fire hits everyone, huge, big and small
There won't be enough living do burry the dead
They'll lie on each other like bricks in a wall
So many things he can tell me, the Wizard
It scares and it hurts, but it's only the truth
He'd seen many things in the faraway lands
He fought many combats, but none of them was really won!
Quietly sleeping a cat by the fire
Outside of my windows the last star dies out
A weak light of dawn runs through my window
The young birds of morning whistle aloud
"We were carried away by our night conversation,
The morning's already conquering the world"
While saying his words, takes his baton and raincoat
He's leaving away to the death, to the cold!
And I know that I learned pretty much from the Wizard
He shared his wisdom, and drove me insane
I'll never forget our strange conversation,
But I know for sure that I'll never see him again!
