An old couple was walking in the street.
They were holding a shopping cart.
The man held it on one side,
The woman on the other.
The woman wore a black lacquer sandal,
One tow was popping out of it.
They didn't talk,
They didn't even look at each other,
But there was a bond there.
The cart connected them.
I saw they had something,
A history, a story.
I looked at them.
Tried so hard not to stare.
Trying so hard to understand
Why I want to stare.
What made them so special?
What does this picture means?
I usually don't think about old people that I don't even
know.
I usually don't remember so clearly a sandal with a popping
tow.
A shopping cart is usually just a shopping cart for me.
So when a picture like that gets stuck in my head for over a
month,
It means something.
