I still remember the first time we met
You didn't say much, but I knew just what you meant
Everything went so fine, as good as its gonna get
All of a sudden you're in a hurry,  and off you went
and only then I realized how much I'd spent
The sunset was lovely, too bad you couldn't stay
But as far as I'm concerned, that's O.K.

We'd go hiking on a clear Autumn day
Just to take some time off, just to get away
Deep in the forest embraced by mother nature
We'd feast our eyes on the idyllic picture
The sun would peek between the trees, a hundred feet above
As if it was spying on our games of love
I'd chase you around, and you'd keep running away
But as far as I'm concerned, that's O.K.

The singing of birds, and the rustling of leaves
Perfected by enchanting smell and the humming of bees
Way out there gushing is a mighty waterfall
Telling us that here, time doesn't matter at all
We'd let ourselves go - laugh and play, sing and dance
But once we got back, you'd spend the night with someone
else
There wasn't really anything, that I could do or say
But as far as I'm concerned, that's O.K.

As far as you're concerned, I'm here to amuse
Always shine and smile, never blow a fuse
I'm the one who gives and wants nothing in return
I spend my day with you, but then at night I'm with the
moon
Should you find what you desire, I'll be sure to pay
And if I find what I require, I'll ask you if I may
I tell you everything, you have nothing to say
And as far as I'm concerned, that's O.K.
