למרגלות אבי ואם היום והליל, הם נעמדו. עוד מעט והכל ייגמר,
לטוב או לרע.

אי- שם, בארץ רחוקה ולא ידועה, ניצבה טירה. עמק רחב ידיים
השתרע מול חלונותיה המעוטרים ואגם מנצנץ חבק את גניה. לא היה
שער לטירה, שכן כל אורח היה מוזמן להיכנס, אך אף לא אחד עשה
כן.
