Nadu party mix of his own tracks
and collaborations. Includes music from both
released and unreleased projects.
The mix was recorded during January 2005 but
aside from a few tracks contains
mostly older unreleased tracks from 2002 to
early 2004.The intention was to
archive these tracks through a collection of
mixed sets to be put online. Utterly
insane, fast paced, nintendoish, dancefloor
music with a touch of idm, avantgarde
and other electronic influences...

Groove - Get Invitation - Cider Groove is a
collaboration project between
Elmooht (aka Faxi Nadu) and 3x!13, with vocals
on track 4 by Eitan Ginzburg.
An epic fantasy adventure, of heroes that have
long ago become mere myths. A
combination of high tech and old school
electronic sounds, groovy and suitable
for the dancefloor, and yet very personal and
exotic.

target="blank">Elmooht - Cloak and Phase
- Released as free mp3 download at Moron Labs. A
short story of hope and desperation
- raging inner battles until the awaited
salvation. 21 scenes provide snapshots
from a personal storyline. Dark, vague, moody,
tension and anxiety felt throughout.
Weird drum hits and thumbing bass sounds seep
into ambient strips of sweeping
drone and dissappear in the distance.
href="http://www.archive.org/details/elmooht-nervousmahagath"
target="blank">Elmooht
- Nervous Mahagath - Mystery. Seems like
Elmooht conjours in us images of
far away places, places we realise we know. Like
a nostalgic mirror trap, reflecting
arrows of time, we plunge into the stories of
Elmooht. Bits of information come
together... images, smells, and sounds fuse into
one... we are there, at the
shores of the the Talimari, the black peaks of
the Ge Eer mountains hovering
high above. We can almost sense the Mahagath -
the troubled times of these ancient
texts thrust upon us, and as we dream on, we no
longer fear, Elmooht.
Elmmoht music is a powerful, no-nonsense, high
voltage ambient - soundscapes
- experimental - noise mixture. "In your face"
multi-layered sounds, usually
very dark and even paranoid, lots of mysterious
atmospheres and a very distinct
feel and storyline. While inspired by such
veteran ambient experimental noisemakers
such as Vesica Piscis Biosphere, Moron Labs,
Future Sound Of London, Oophoi,
Brian Eno and many more, Elmooht brings in a
fresh, unique approach, resulting
in a very personal style and sound.
The "Nervous Mahagath" EP is a promo for the
Christmas 2004 joint Postunder
Records and Moron Labs co-release "Elmooht -Logh
Vohei LP". This LP will be
our first release of what will hopefully become
a lasting and productive relationship
with the good folk at Moron Labs.

Piscis Remixed by Elmooht - Imaginary Films
- Vesica Piscis has released
4 albums by the name of "Imaginary Film
Soundtrack", respectively called Imaginary
Film Soundtrack ..1, IFS..2, IFS..3 and IFS..4.
The Imaginary films albums are
very abstract, ambient, experimental releases,
projecting unique feelings, both
disturbing and tranquil. Elmooht writes: "I had
the pleasure of sitting through
Vesica Piscis' IFS series, picking out moments I
liked and remolding them into
a 30 minute story..

target="blank">Elmooht
- Folklore - Various Elmooht tracks from
2002-2004. Unlike more recent Elmooht,
these tracks have beats and melodies, and
represent stories and folklore of
the Talimari Islands. All sorts of electronic
styles covered, but in a rather
"strange" way, resulting in a charectaristicly
mysterious release by Elmooht.

- Live at Home September 2005 - This
recording is a studio recorded practise
run of Elmooht's current live set, entitled
"Elastic Foundations" - a nirotic,
drifting ambient/exprimental show. Sweeping
soundscapes, whispers, vague melodies,
chants, and diffused urban sounds drone on
hypnoticaly as the listener is taken
on a mysterious journey within and without.
Elmooht threads a dark and even
scary tale, melting the gothic and holy with the
futuristic, cynical cold of
technology.
Elmooht performs using a backbone of three
Creamware DSP cards running on a
desktop computer, and an Alesis mixer. The cards
run digital modular "noodle"
patches and a couple of samplers, as well as a
host of effects for the incoming
audio. The mixer conects with a couple of
walkmans, a cd player, a digital oscilator
and the occasional toy. Elmooht uses a Yamaha
Dx200 and Yamaha An1x for midi
control of the creamware modulars and
samplers.

- Live @ Netstockfest 2005 - The netstock
set Elmooht performed was an exclusive,
1 time gig for netstock, featuring 2 additional
musicians. Elmooht was running
modular patches and effects through Creamware's
Scope system, while also playing
with some hardware toys and mixing in Elmooht
tracks from albums. Itay Perets
was using some "newage" synthesis software like
peersynth and ixi, running additional
modular sounds and also adding external noises
from his own station. Dudi Asor
was playing live keyboard parts, as well as also
playing with some noise channels.
The recording for this set is the server-side
recording. That means it was recorded
in 96kbps quality and contains occasional
streaming buffers. The recording was
then slightly remastered and re-encoded to
256kbps mp3.
