Look over the blackandwhite rows of picketfence
Watch me shine, watch me shower

She would sit there, that Dame
of the other side of the street.
Sit and wait for the long,
Humid and ever-expanding bells-
To ring on her one day
|
Like green inky blood of fleshy leaves
cooled and killed by frost
clinging to the edge of them
|
Each step, emerges in triumph
Out of the sand,
Only to sink back in,
And for some futile cause
It will emerge again.
Again, to sink back into the sand.
|
Written to commemorate today, for tomorrow.
|
Trickling drops salty and nauseous,
Better off than being so cautious.
Just let it pour
Let it flow
|
Amongst stoic stalagmite in echoing caves
Repressed, depressed, unexpressed.
|
|
|
