Thru the pain and the agony,
I wrote down the words,
I couldn't imagine,
How far it would go,
I couldn't accept the demise of my soul,
The death freezing hell,
When the sun burns out cold.

Pouring rain in the eyes of the dead,
Shattered heart in the chest of the damned,
Walking dead on the road to the end,
Only my shadow is what I have left.

The angel in me says to live,
The demon in me says to die,
My brain tells me to stop,
My heart pushes me to go.

The light in the end draws nearer,
Unrecognized face looks back in the mirror,
Blood still runs in the tunnels of life,
Walking forward,
Awaiting the revelation of god.
