Democracy in America is pointless, this country is 'the land
of the free'? How free are we really? This is a country
where thousands upon thousands of people are submitted into
slavery in this country alone. This is a country where
believing in the glorified story of the bible is looked
upon. These people give their money to support this absurd
crap, sounds like brainwash to me. This is a country where
our president frowns upon gay marriage, only cares about his
damn war, and has caused the nations debt to rise to an
unbelievable amount that society is now LITERALLY paying
for. Does this sound like 'the land of the free'? This is a
country where over 1,000 US soldiers lost their lives in a
meaningless war. Iraq had a strong dictatorship that needed
to be taken out of power. Saddam Hussein was captured, but a
war is still being fought, why? Why is it, after doing their
country the favor of removing Saddam from power, those
innocent men, women, and children are still dying to this
day. This is a country where mainstream media dominates the
masses. These people buy, listen to, and eat what the media
tells them to. Companies spend millions, sometimes billions
on advertising alone. Money like that could go to help so
many different causes, charities, organizations, etc. Many
people of the masses are so-called conformists of the
mainstream because they are incompetent of their
surroundings and either do not understand or cannot
comprehend. The media is taken over for the most part anyway
by the F.C.C. (Federal Communications Commission) The F.C.C.
controls magazines, television, and movies within the
mainstream. If more people spoke out against things like
this, we could stop it. US citizens are the "masses", we
have the power and we need to take advantage of it. Speak
out against authority, your voice will be heard, and
hopefully, will turn this country into the true democracy it
should have been all along.
