Her golden hair scattered in the wind, like wild fire
spreading over dry wheat,
As she followed him riding with her ember eyes, galloping
with his valiant steed.
Yet one must wonder that day, why didn't the moon rise? Why
didn't the sun set?
It was his foreseen sentence, she knew, as she mourned for
his valorous deeds...
Foreseen, like the death of their love.

Yearning she was for the day before, when she blessed her
kin, her beloved knight,
A valorous knight, stardust at his wake, his armor anciently
forged.
Her sober was swollen by twilight, as mists carried him out
of her sight,
She now wept and recalled in her mind, how she sharpened his
sword.
Yet, her own feelings were left blunt.

Staring wistfully into the dark horizon, she knew that he
shall not return,
She prayed for the caressing wind and the rivers to carry
her beloved back home.
As her beloved fell, the sky roared and cried, the earth was
arid and torn.
His redeeming shield won't protect her, since never again
shall the winds roam...
Never again shall her heart roam between twilight
horizons...

Thy fallen were whispering, about their embrace, about the
light atop their tree, like a moonlit wreath.
Their guardian song shall eternally emblaze, his tears when
they fall, enshrouded with faith...
