I feel a change a coming
I feel the wind picking up behind me,
It brings a scent of change
I find myself running circles
As if looking for where I belong when this change arrives.
And so forth all is revolving
Spinning around me like a pack of birds surrounding its
pray
I try to unravel myself from things to be.
Wondering if finally.
My past has caught up with me.
Oh yes, a change is coming
The sea sinks in, gathering itself
A wave is conclusive
Its fury hides beneath silk like oceans
But the tides do not lie
I hear the murmurs of the motion
"Run" they say
"A change is coming"
But I shall stand at ease
Hold my ground knee high in wet sand
And let the wave engulf me as everything else.
I shall be a part of it, within it
The wind grows stronger still
The currents shift I sense my future now.
It is a mixture of passion and deception
A dawn approaches, its name given only after its time
This shall be my sun rising.
The change within a change,
I am within still
Still waiting, always waiting... but the current moves
swifter
And waves collide and I feel the time has come
The change has already started.
And it started within me.
I am the wave, and I am the wind, and I am the sun
I am within the change
"Run" they say
I shall.
I shall meet the wave heart first, and it shall part before
me.
I shall see the birds again at winter.
Let them return, we shall see who the prey is.
Oh yes, a change is coming...
