"Maybe, maybe you can change your mind and come with me
anyway?" he said in a hesitating voice...
Behind him suitcases and flight tickets were checked, and
people were already boarding the plane. Families going on
trips to Europe, honeymooners on their first vacation
together and young people off to find their true selves.
People with hopes and dreams. I used to be one of those
people.
When  he told me he's going off to New York for a year, the
first thing I wanted to say was "Oh my gosh! you're soooooo
lucky!", but then came the sadness and the sudden drop to
the ground as I realised- he's really  really going. A whole
year without him. For me it's like Hell. He's all I got, and
without him my world will just fall apart. As easy as that.
"No I'm sorry, I just can't. I belong here and this is my
home. Leaving it will be as hard as leaving you", I said a
banal line with a tear in my eye.



Ha! That's how I wish it could have ended, but wishing is
not enough, isn't it?
What can you do when your world suddenly falls apart, and
nothing seems to be able to put it back together!
Every night I have that dream, how he asks me to go with him
one last time, and I just say no. As simple as that.
Why is it that I can't say yes? Even in my dreams.In real
life I didn't even get the change to say either one of them.
He just took off without telling anybody, not even me. Just
left and broke my world into little pieces. As simple as
that.
