"Banished, that is?", She looked at the locked doors behind
them.
"I guess, that's what He ordered", said Adam, a worried look
on his face as he was pointing to the ground, "what SHALL we
do now?"
"Well, I've heard Bombay is very nice this time of the
year", she said with a half crooked smile.
"Well, maybe we'll go to Hollywood and become movie-stars or
something", he said, chuckling.
"To that Hill of Sins!? He will be furious when he finds
out- and that happens very quickly, as you must know", Eve
said, shaking her head, "and if we do go somewhere- what
WILL we say: 'Hey, we're Adam and Eve, and we came a long
way from Heaven!' come on".
Adam looked at her with despair said, "Try to knock, maybe
he'll take us back. We HAVE said we're sorry like a million
times- so we ate a damn rotten apple- what IS the big
deal!?"
"No. It's kind of late and it's gettin' dark, too dark to
see. Let's wait till tomorrow- maybe will try then."
Adam put his arms around her and whispered, "come here, and
lets find a place to spend the night, it's gonna be cold.
It's been a bad day; maybe tomorrow will wake up and find it
all had just been a silly dream. Maybe tomorrow will be a
better day."
She hugged him and said as to herself, "It's a hard life,
but we'll always live for tomorrow, won't we Adam?"
