These thoughts they keep me awake.
I guess this whole mess keeps a lot of people awake.
A whole country that never sleeps
The children that will go to war at day-break
The parents who wont sleep for three years
And those
who are a couple of nights away from the mess
have started playing their parts already
the news never sleeps
and even the ground doesn't seem to sleep anymore,
it merely waits.
For the ground cannot rest silently after what it has seen
No one can.
And as long as it knows the next day will be the same,
Who can blame her?
So I wonder how am I supposed to sleep safely at night?
When I cannot sleep at all?
